Visits to Schools PDF Print E-mail

ImageHere at the EEC we belief that effective change comes through reaching out to all different types of people, and engaging youth in particular as important actors in the community.  For this reason, we devote much of efforts to visiting a wide variety of different schools – including government schools, refugee (UNRWA) schools, and private schools with a broad array of religious affiliations.  We made a series of visits to these schools this year to talk about water and energy conservation, and engage Palestinian youth in coming up with new ideas for how to conserve these precious resources in their everyday lives.  During these school visits, students were empowered to get creative with their ways of thinking about natural resources, and discovered new strategies together to help reduce their use of water and energy.
