Swiss – Developing Environmental Education in Other Schools

Environmental Clubs (non-Lutheran schools)

The EEC operates 26 environmental clubs in private, public, and UNRWA schools throughout the West Bank. These clubs aim to bolster the students’ knowledge of environmental issues through creative activities, recreation, and hands-on experiences. The clubs provide these students with opportunities to learn more about solid waste management, biodiversity, water and energy conservation, and much more. Through interactive games, group work, and artistic activities, they can engage in meaningful and affirming experiences and develop their capacity to proactively participate in society and protect the environment. Some of the projects from the clubs are on display in our environmental exhibition.
