Water Conservation

The EEC campus includes a water recycling system that filters and reuses water from the Talitha Kumi School. Grey water (water from sinks, drinking fountains, showers, washing machines, etc) is recycled and used again in toilets at the EEC. The resulting black water (water from toilets, containing sewage) is then filtered and cleaned to be used in irrigation of the botanical garden at the center.
